WHO WE ARE
Born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, Whitney has a deep knowledge and passion for the area. After finishing her undergrad at the University of Arkansas, she lived overseas and then settled in Chicago to begin her professional journey in eCommerce and retail technology. She returned to NWA in 2013 and has built her career trailblazing new business ventures for the world’s biggest brands developing strategy and operating models. Whitney currently holds a senior leadership position at Walmart where she leads Transformation and Store Commercialization. She holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Arkansas and is a program faculty member at Cornell University in New York.
A native of Kansas City, Tom relocated to Northwest Arkansas in 2012 to lead creative for the area’s premiere Advertising agency, Mars. After graduating from the University of Central Missouri, he has spent the last 20 years working in brand and creative design across an entire spectrum of CPG brands and Mass retailers. Tom currently works in Brand Strategy and Creative for Walmart where he utilizes his deep expertise in customer experience, interior and graphic design. In addition to his undergraduate degree, he holds multiple certifications from the Kansas City Art Institute and NYU.
